LeBron Still the King

LeBron James is a Forward/Guard currently for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been known for being the most athletically and physically specimen to ever play the game of basketball. Also, his accolades and his accomplishments in the league has allowed him to be widely considered next to the great Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball players of all time. With that being said, the Lakers have had a great season only losing 13 games out of the 60 games they have already played. Prior to the season LeBron and the Lakers had acquired a really strong forward/center Anthony Davis (AD), making a dynamic power duo. Two other teams in the league had also been winning and consisted of great players as well the other LA team the clippers in Kawhi Leonard (last year’s NBA Champion and finals MVP winner) with skillful forward Paul George, and the Milwaukee Bucks with last year’s regular season MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Throughout the season, Giannis had been the clear front runner to repeat the regular season MVP title and his team has had the best record in the NBA. The second person who was somewhat close behind was LeBron, who had been leading his team with the best record in the West which is considered a tougher conference to play in while Giannis is in the East. LeBron throughout the season had lost to the Clippers twice and the Bucks once making them 3-0 against the teams that are considered better in the NBA right now. Well, this past weekend had changed all that and made the MVP race much more closer than it was before. LeBron and the Lakers played both the Clippers AND the Bucks this past weekend and beat them both. LeBron and AD both scoring high and LeBron almost obtaining a triple double on both nights. On top of that, LeBron had practically shut down the MVP front runner and handling him offensively. After the weekend, people had widely considered LeBron the MVP front runner after his victories over the other two NBA powerhouses. The King of basketball sent a message to everyone after 17 years being in the league and being 35 years old, he is not going anywhere!
